Kelly + Joe, the kind of people you can’t help but fall in love with from their radiating energy. I met Kelly + Joe last summer when they booked their engagement session with me and instantly knew we were a perfect match when we started creating together. They put their trust in my visions and inspirations from the first second we met all the way through their full wedding weekend we spent together this spring. We wanted to tell the whole story of their wedding from hanging out beach side, to rehearsal dinner and welcome party on the sand, all the way through the party of a wedding day. So let’s recap starting with day one.

The day before, we decided to run to the beach that morning and take a few minutes to document their time at a place that is so special to them. Kelly + Joe’s roots are in Florida, so they knew they wanted their day to reflect that and what dreamier of a place than Key Largo. We laughed and ran on the sand and I genuinely could not think of a sweeter way to kick off the weekend.

After we embraced the beach early morning, we reconnected later that night to start documenting the rehearsal dinner and getting to meet the most welcoming and warm group of guests, we could not have asked for a better environment for our creativity to run wild. We aspired for genuine emotions and interactions between Kelly + Joe, and all of their loved ones.

& how else do you throw a welcome party in the keys if not with a tiki bar & sunset on the dock? The theme of the weekend was sunset and the girls outfits did not disappoint, neither did the actual most stunning sunset under the palm trees.

Okay now finallyyyyyy, THE WEDDING DAY. I cannot even put into words how special this day was. Instantly felt inspired by the architecture at the resort, the scenery and nature around us, and the color pallete. We based the detail photos off of the organic elements surrounding us.

Kelly had a vision for getting ready and from start to finish it was iconic to say the least. They had me at chanel sunnies.

I could quite literally go on about this day forever, so let me try to speed up a bit. Seeing Kelly’s bridal look fully coming together was unreal, all the way through emotional first looks and preparing for the ceremony with their people, the emotions were happening.

& the moment we spent all weekend waiting for, the one where they finally say I do: CEREMONY <3

Then we took some time to soak in the newlywed photos watching the sunset over the water, before ending the night with a true Florida party.
