A Maine wedding rooted in ease, connection, and the kind of love that feels like home.
Some weddings feel curated. Others feel lived-in, intentional, and deeply personal. Olivia + Walker’s day on the coast of Maine was the latter — effortless in the way some of the most meaningful moments ever are.
We traveled up the East Coast to be part of their celebration, arriving to the kind of quiet that instantly slows you down. The air was crisp, the light soft, and everything about the setting felt grounded and calm.
August 29th, the night before, the celebration began quietly and beautifully with an intimate candlelit rehearsal dinner. Surrounded by their closest people, the evening felt warm, relaxed, and full of meaning — the kind of gathering where laughter comes easily and time slows down. Thoughtful toasts turned into storytelling, glasses stayed full, and the energy slowly shifted from sentimental to celebratory. As the night unfolded, the group made their way onto the water, where the celebration continued aboard a boat under the stars.

The morning began at Walker’s family home, tucked near the lake. Before the day even officially started, there were barefoot moments on the dock, laughter in the kitchen, and a spontaneous jump into the water that set the tone for everything that followed. Afterward, everyone gathered for breakfast together — coffee brewing, sunlight pouring in, stories being shared like we’d all known each other for years. It felt less like a wedding morning and more like being welcomed into a family.
That feeling carried through the entire day.

Olivia got ready surrounded by warmth and ease, her look timeless and understated in the best way. Every detail felt intentional without ever feeling overdone.

Every detail of the day felt intentional yet refreshingly understated. Soft coastal textures, natural tones, and thoughtful design choices created an atmosphere that was elevated without ever feeling overdone. From the paper goods to the florals, everything echoed the surrounding landscape — airy, organic, and refined. The palette felt pulled straight from the coast itself: sun-warmed neutrals, muted blues, and subtle layers of texture that moved beautifully in the light. It was the kind of design that doesn’t demand attention, but draws you in — timeless, grounded, and an effortless sense of style.

Their ceremony was intimate and grounded, set against the natural beauty of the Maine coast. The breeze off the water, the soft movement of the trees, the way everyone leaned in a little closer — it all felt honest and deeply personal.

As the sun dipped lower, the light turned golden and everything softened. Portraits felt less like posing and more like documenting moments unfolding naturally — laughter, long embraces, and that unmistakable feeling of being completely present.

The night ended the way the day began: surrounded by the people who know them best, sharing stories, celebrating, and soaking in every second. This is the kind of day that stays with you. The kind you wish you could relive exactly as it was.

A love note to Olivia + Walker for being the warmest, most welcoming and deserving two humans. Forever grateful our paths crossed. xx
